A lot of stuff in affiliate marketing is speculation.

When you can figure out the true data behind the
marketing is when everything becomes a science.

You can't argue with data.

In my case, I've generated 120 leads and from that
23 people created a free account.  10 of those folks
upgraded and I've earned $420 with this system.

So every time I generate 5.2 leads, 1 creates a free
account.  Every time 2.3 people creates a free account,
1 upgrades and I average $42 per upgrade.

Now, it's purely a numbers game.  People AREN'T 
numbers, but I think you get what I'm saying!
